Who knows. They’re not very transparent about that sort of thing, I’ve noticed. Jalopnik replaced a lot of fantastic writers with people who seem to have little interest in cars over the last year and a half. But there are still some great articles!

I need exhaust for my ND. I don’t feel the desire to rev the piss out of it. but I have the desire to, want to. Not high on my priority list, still on the list though.

They have a lot of talent still and produce some great stuff. But I agree, some of the newer hires. I dunno.

We gossiped about that at the Vancouver meet, some of the things they crank out... its not so great.

95% of the stuff is still awesome, but maybe less Uber stuff? Also, they should let Alex Hevesy write more. I like his stuff.

The two important takeaways of that setup are, 1.) Gold heat tape. 2.) Those fenders.

I’d like to do something like that on the SC, but using fiberglass to keep the panel gap decent and with the indent lower on the panel.

Also I have gold heat tape inbound for the turbos! (70% because I wanted goldness)

Now that I’ve got a solid e30 I’m going to start saving for an e28 or e24 I’d take a manual e23 too but those are even rarer.

I want an e30 or an e28 again. Or an e24, I miss them all for different reasons.

I’ve never had an e23, I had a chance to buy a 4 speed 733i years ago with a bad heater core and a leaking fuel line for $400, but had nowhere at all to put it.
